The project prepares youngsters to the mechanisms of the cross-border labour market. They learn the so-called „Euregion competences“, which facilitate them with professional handling with clients, colleagues and employers of the neighbouring country.
The project includes as well as pilot activities like language programmes for trainees and teachers, cross-border job-advertisements, the development of bilingual Apps, like courses and training programmes. Furthermore mobility programmes among vocational schools are a crucial element of the project. In order to maintain the sustainability of the emerging network in the professional formation, the project aspires to stipulate contracts among schools and euroregional sector platforms, training courses and conferences. The virtual expertise centre of the project provides thereby important information and materials, and is responsible – among other things – for the certification and quality protection of 40 euroregional training programmes. Therefore the „Lernende Euregio“ („Learning Euregio“) develops so-called authorised descriptions of the programmes, which transparency and acceptance ensures job acquisition in the border region.
